It was really great to stay in one country for a month. In my opinion, the first choice was excellent. We saw a lot of beautiful places, we tried to solve some problems, but it was still in the spirit of traveling in two (as tourists) than when you live with the locals. In practice, it means that one word changes meaning in different tones. In our language, the tone is used to create a question, emphasis or expression of emotions. Thanks to that, we can possibly know what the other thinks. There is no such thing in Thai.Another difference is that if a woman speaks, the word Kha is added at the end of the sentence. As for men, he adds Khrab to the end. It is a manifestation of courtesy and respect.
We used two phrases during the month: Greetings and thanks
If you greet someone, you don´t give him a hand. Hands hold to yourself as you pray and say Sawatdy Kha or Sawatdy Khrab and bow slightly. You will use the same gesture as a thank you, just change the sentence and say Kho Khun Kha or Kho Khun Khrab.
